Sebuku, PT Matahari Putra Makmur, ANJR successfully build relationships with PT Columbus IT Indonesia
Within the last few months, PT Columbus IT Indonesia (a member of the BayanTrade Group of Companies) recently signed and successfully implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX in three different companies with varying business requirements —Sebuku, PT Matahari Putra Makmur and ANJR. Led by Microsoft Business Solution country sales manager Febri Siboro, PT Columbus IT Indonesia solidified its role as a formidable business solutions and services provider in the fast-growing market.
Sebuku: Relationships play a key role
To maximize the company’s growth potential in Indonesia’s mining industry. Sebuku needed support in managing its cost maintenance and financial systems. Focused on exporting The organization has more than 2,000 employees across its three production facilities and is considered one of Indonesia’s Big Ten players in the iron mining sector. Microsoft Dynamics AX, as offered by PT Columbus IT Indonesia, was the business solution-of-choice by Sebuku after a rigorous evaluation process. In the end, it was PT Columbus IT Indonesia’s ability and history of providing reliable support that gave the former the winning edge over the competition.

Demonstrating breadth of experience with PT Matahari Putra Makmur
On the other hand, PT Matahari Putra Makmur was needed to accelerate their production while maximizing their manpower capabilities to fulfill industry demand. Indonesia only has 10 major PVC pipe manufacturing companies in the country – PT Matahari Putra Makmur being part of the select few. At present, PT Matahari Putra Makmur has two major production sites with more than 2,000 employees.
PT Columbus IT Indonesia offered Microsoft Dynamics AX as the most appropriate solution that would give PT Matahari Putra Makmur a significant lead over the competition. “Right off the bat, the organization’s management saw PT Columbus IT Indonesia as an ideal fit when it comes to being a business partner, more so Microsoft Dynamics AX as a strategic investment,” Siboro stated. “We have had a successful track record when it comes to manufacturing firms in the country, so we had the advantage of experience as a thorough and detail-oriented business solutions provider.” To-date, the PT Columbus IT Indonesia team is fine tuning specific aspects of the implementation, particularly functionalities involving financial reporting, production cost control and master planning for production.
ANJR: Streamlined towards business success
On the other hand, car rental company ANJR (formally known as PT ANJ Rent) recently completed implementing its Microsoft Dynamics AX investment. The car rental business is only part of top conglomerate PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya’s core services. ANJR has five branches to serve its 1,500-strong team.
Microsoft Dynamics AX will be able to support ANJR’s vision to be the top one-stop-shop automotive center in Indonesia. The solution will help integrate ANJR’s back office systems with its front-end IT infrastructure. “From the initial phases of the partnership, ANJR management noted our fluency in demonstrating just what investing in Microsoft Dynamics AX can do for their business,” said Siboro. “We gave them actual business scenarios our team encountered in the past and illustrated the practical benefits ANJR can expect from the implementation,” he added.
