BayanTrade conducted its first set of ITC-MLS exams for 2009 last 13-18 March at its Makati Office. Among those who took the exams were professionals working for leading companies such as Manila Water, Makati Development Corporation and Ayala Land. Conducted through BayanTrade, the exams, once completed and passed, lead to the coveted International Certification and/or Diploma in International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.

BayanTrade’s experienced educators were onsite to help the examinees prepare. In addition, independent, ITC-certified invigilators ensured the integrity of the exams by acting as third party proctors.

The ITC-MLS program (otherwise known as the International Trade Center’s Modular Learning System in International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management) is a comprehensive 12-module training pack for purchasing professionals and supply chain managers. Its greatest benefit for enterprises is a more competent workforce, leading to better cost savings, improved performance and better handling of supplier relationships.

It is also an internationally-recognized certification program, granting various levels of certification for those who have completed and passed its exams.
