Top medical center taps BayanTrade to implement SAP

Makati Medical Center and BayanTrade kick off the SAP implementation project with a small celebration.

Makati Medical Center (MMC), a premiere healthcare facility in the Philippines that provides sophisticated medical and surgical services, makes the move to advance its business operations by acquiring an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. MMC chooses SAP as its ERP and taps BayanTrade as its implementation partner.

BayanTrade is set to implement the Financials and Controlling (FICO) and Materials Management (MM) module of SAP for MMC. The two modules will cover the company’s accounting, accounts payable and receivable, treasury, purchasing, and inventory management.

The SAP system will integrate with Hospital Information System (HIS), the front-end application that MMC uses in its day-to-day operations. BayanTrade will execute this integration as well as the migration and normalization of data coming from MMC’s legacy systems. Upon project go-live, MMC will have a working system that automates and streamlines its processes and generates real-time business analytics.
