BayanTrade, the premiere knowledge process outsourcing and leading SAP partner in the Philippines, triumphantly closes the 3rd quarter of 2009 with 3 new accounts and 2 successful implementation projects. All projects add to BayanTrade’s list of prestigious customers and are expected to contribute to BayanTrade’s experience and expertise in delivering SAP products and services.
New accounts
BayanTrade kick offs three projects in September 2009: McDonald’s Makati Medical Center, and Styrotech Corporation.
Golden Arches Development Corporation
BayanTrade deploys BT Builder for Golden Arches Development Corporation (GADC), owner of the McDonald’s franchise in the Philippines. BT Builder is an SAP industry solution developed by BayanTrade. Based on SAP Best Practices, it is preconfigured to cover the key business processes in construction and engineering and property management, on top of a baseline scope in financials, controlling, materials and inventory management, equipment maintenance, and sales. BT Builder addresses McDonald’s core business requirements in building and maintaining restaurants, lease-in and lease-out of land, and corporate office operations. All transactional data will go into the BT Builder, to be mined and organized into useful information by a business intelligence tool, SAP Business Objects, which will also be set up by BayanTrade.
Makati Medical Center
Makati Medical Center (MMC), a premiere healthcare facility in the Philippines, advances its business operations by acquiring SAP as its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution. MMC appoints BayanTrade as its services partner, set to implement the financials, controlling, and materials management components of SAP for MMC. The ERP will integrate with MMC’s Hospital Information System (HIS), unifying the entire information network of MMC in a single system.
Styrotech Corporation
Styrotech Corporation (Styrotech), manufacturer of polystyrene packaging materials, makes the move to join the ranks of big, world-class companies. Styrotech equips itself for global competition through the implementation of JumpStart – an SAP industry solution developed by BayanTrade for the manufacturing industry. Based on manufacturing best practices, JumpStart will streamline Styrotech’s business operations and improves their efficiency in financial management, materials management, production planning, sales and distribution, and business reporting. It is a preconfigured solution that addresses Styrotech’s requirements in manufacturing food packaging and materials.
Live projects
BayanTrade successfully concludes 2 projects, so that the benefits of SAP can be realized by its customers: Petron and Unioil.
Petron Corporation
Focusing on supplier collaboration in order to get more value from its investments, Petron Corporation (Petron) partners with BayanTrade in implementing SAP Supplier Relationship Management for the oil company’s operations, one of the pioneer SAP SRM installations in the country. Through the automation of the procure-to-pay processes for goods and services and centralized sourcing and procurement activities in the organization, Petron expects to get more value from supplier relationships. Using SAP SRM, Petron wants to act strategically on available and useful information derived from visible transactions across suppliers and the procure-to-pay cycle.
Unioil
Unioil continues to be aggressive in the competitive fuel market. Unioil’s ERP system, JumpStart, officially goes online and now supports the oil company’s operations in finance, controlling, materials and inventory, equipment maintenance, and sales. JumpStart is a preconfigured SAP solution developed by BayanTrade and based on best business practices for a quick deployment and return on investment.
